BTW, I operate Get seven and also have a gripe about expanding folders. If I start growing folders while in the left pane view, and develop/scroll down so that I’m somewhere nicely down a tree (but haven’t but selected a folder to view in the appropriate pane), my Home windows Explorer will snap back to the root folder.
